Justina McCaffrey 
After her own wedding in 1989 to David McCaffrey, a fellow Winnipeg native whom she met at the age of 6, her vocation became clear. Friends and relatives were impressed with the wedding dress that Justina designed and made for herself. Soon after, she had design requests from friends and acquaintances for their wedding dresses and the business took off.
The growth of the business has doubled annually, and by 1996 the luxurious Sussex Drive flagship boutique opened, and a new collection was launched at the New York couture bridal market. Though growth has been tremendous since opening Justina McCaffrey wedding dresses are created with special attention, elaborate detail and flattering silhouettes.
