So today, Nicholas Penna, Jr. of SalonCapri shares his how to's on creating this chic wedding hairstyle:
- Blow dry hair using a volumizing product (Nick likes Shu Uemura’s Ample Angora Volumizing Mousse).
- Separate hair into one inch sections, and using a two inch barrel curling iron, curl strands to create a loose, yet full wave. As you curl each section, spray a light hold hair spray to keep the texture in tact. Nick suggests L’Oreal Professional Texture Infinium Spray.
- Gather hair at the crown of the head and secure into a high ponytail using an elastic.
- Tease the ends of your ponytail with a fine-toothed comb, and work your way up, from the ends to the base of the elastic.
- Twist the hair around the elastic. Secure some pieces with bobby pins, while letting others go au natural. It doesn’t need to be a perfect round shape – let it breathe!
- When you have all of the hair secured around in a bun, finish with another round of L’Oreal Professionnel Texture Infinium Spray for hold.
