What kind of wedding dress do you wear in zero gravity? Apparently, one with specially designed bloomers underneath to protect your modesty works quite well.
On Saturday, the wedding of Noah Fulmore and Erin Finnegan addressed this unusual wedding planning issue and more, as the pair tied the knot on a zero-gravity aircraft.
The specially modified Boeing 727 aircraft - operated by Zero Gravity Corp. - departed from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. It made several roller-coaster-esque dips along its 90-minute flight - just what's needed to ensure the couple and their guests enjoyed a series of weightless moments.
"It was outstanding," Fulmore told the New York Daily News. "It was everything I think we were hoping for."
The bride's wedding gown was composed of several layers, her hair was fixed in place with wires and the groom's tuxedo featured stiffened tails that would not flap around during the ceremony.
One photo of the happy couple shows them floating upside-down and sharing a kiss - with so much excitement on their wedding day, how can their honeymoon compete?
