Guitar legend Eddie Van Halen said "I do" to his girlfriend Janie Liszewski on Saturday in the garden of the groom's seven-acre California estate.

According to People.com, the bride wore a champagne and pink Hanna Hartnell wedding gown that was designed just for her, complemented by Bulgari earrings and a bracelet.

Meanwhile, Van Halen opted for a relaxed outfit of cotton pants and an untucked button-down shirt.

In an equally casual twist, the bride, groom and wedding attendants all sported flip-flops as their wedding shoes of choice.

But perhaps the most unconventional aspect of the ceremony involved a very special guest of the canine variety - Kano, Liszewski's 15-year-old Pomeranian, walked her down the aisle to say her vows.

Could dogs be the new must-have wedding accessory? Earlier this year, Jennifer Hudson said she planned to dress her dogs up for her nuptials and let them serve as ring bearers.

And USA Today recently reported that pet-loving couples are finding ways to include their four-legged friends in even the most formal celebrations - whether as part of the wedding party or in the receiving line.
