Save to Stuff I Love!

Attention brides-to-be and anyone else who can't get enough of ogling gorgeous wedding gowns - a new wedding-themed cable channel is on the horizon.

According to a Broadcasting & Cable article, Rainbow Media is getting ready to launch a network that will cover nothing but wedding planning programming.

Rainbow is already responsible for the WE TV channel, home to a number of programs including Bridezillas, Amazing Wedding Cakes, My Fair Wedding and Platinum Weddings.

News of the new channel comes as many other networks have also boosted their nuptial-themed reality programming.

Fox has a new show in the works called I Married a Stranger, in which a woman's friends and family are tasked with choosing her Mr Right - and the bride and groom meet for the first time after saying "I do."

Meanwhile, this summer, the first seasons of CW's Hitched or Ditched and TNT's Wedding Day have both garnered a fair audience.

It seems that America can't get enough of vicarious wedding planning - whether you're on the couple's side or not.

  • My daughter is getting married and her story is unique. The couple met at a summer camp for children with cancer. Both bride and groom are cancer survivors. They met 12 years ago @ camp, they were both treated @ St Jude children hospital . Her diagnosed leukemia @ age 6 and his diagnosed bone cancer @ age 8 . Four years ago @ the same summer camp they felt in love and now this cancer survivor are getting matter. Please help me make their wedding day a dream come true, I will be eternally thankful.

    With hope, Sincerely
    Lucy marquez,
    Mother of the bride
