Bachelorette Jillian Harris' down-to-earth wedding dreams

We don't even know which eligible bachelor she will choose in the Bachelorette finale next week, but Jillian Harris has already done some fantasy wedding planning for the future.

"I have this dream wedding of being somewhere in the Canadian Rockies or in the Okanagan in a field and there are mountains all around us," she told Entertainment Tonight.

Harris has a very specific imagination - she envisions gingham tablecloths (white-and-red checked) and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band playing in the background.

All in all, she told ET that her dream celebration will be "nothing really fancy," and would likely feature "cabbage rolls and ham" made by her aunt, as well as lots of kids running around.

It sounds like Harris is not planning to follow in the footsteps of former Bachelorette Trista Rehn, who wed Ryan Sutter in a lavish televised ceremony in 2003.

Trista walked down the aisle in a Badgley Mischka wedding dress and diamond-encrusted wedding shoes, and the entire event was designed by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss.

On Monday, July 27, Harris chooses from among two finalists - Ed and Kiptyn - but previews suggest one of the rejected bachelors, Reid, could also return to the mix.

  • I was glued to the TV set all season! I really had wanted Jillian to pick Kiptyn because I thought their energy and zest for life was much more aligned than her and Ed. I sometimes thought Ed has a bit of a “too hallmark” card aura to him. Everything sounded too perfect and too rehearsed. Though in the end the show was awesome, lots of surprises and shockers. Hello, WES!?

Check out these awesome pictures I found of the show and finale!!! Enjoy!

  • Show seems annoying. People need to get away from the television and buy a bicycle.
