When it comes to wedding planning, romance means different things to different people.
Some dream of a destination wedding in the Caribbean, others want an intimate backyard ceremony - and one couple thought Walmart was the perfect setting to say "I do."
Crystal Newsome and Robert "Vick" Vickrey said their vows on September 26 in the garden department of the York Walmart Supercenter in Nebraska, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
The bride, who wore a lavender wedding dress for her big day, told the newspaper the choice of location had a simple explanation: "We had our first kiss at Walmart."
Both Newsome and Vickrey are employed by the retailer, and they even posted an invitation for coworkers near the time clock.
Believe it or not, this is not the first Walmart wedding - nor is it likely to be the last, particularly as couples continue to look for a budget wedding.
Last month, the Associated Press reported that Walmart auto department employee Greg Scott Ford of St. George, Utah married Corissa Otto in the store's garden department.
Apparently, there was only one slight snag in the ceremony: an "attention all associates" announcement briefly interrupted the couple's vows.
