Ivanka Trump: Wedding planning, but focused on career

You can't accuse Ivanka Trump of getting distracted by wedding planning.

The 27-year-old daughter of real estate mogul Donald Trump is set to tie the knot with 28-year-old Jared Kushner, who publishes the New York Observer, on October 25.

But Ivanka told People that most of her time remains focused on building her career in real estate - a process that keeps her working long hours and traveling.

This busy schedule could also mean that she and Kushner may not start having kids for some time.

"When our time to have a family comes around, I know I will compromise," Ivanka told People.com. "I am not there yet!"

The Trump-Kushner nuptials will take place at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey and is being organized by celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey.

According to the New York Times, Ivanka has chosen one of Vera Wang's wedding gowns to wear on her big day. The couple have registered at Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma and Tiffany, the Times reports.
