If this story sounds familiar, it's not just you! A few months ago, media reports emerged that Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City was wedding planning with boyfriend Jason Hoppy.
However, it seems those reports may have been a bit premature. Frankel has confirmed to People.com that she accepted a proposal from Hoppy on October 8, after 11 months of dating.
According to the news provider, Hoppy threw in some romantic touches when he popped the question, lighting one hundred votive candles in Frankel's apartment and scattering rose petals across the hallway.
He also proffered an 8-carat diamond engagement ring with a 6.5-carat pear-shaped center stone bordered by two side stones. His dog Cookie - dressed in a pink bow - looked on as Hoppy asked Frankel to marry him.
"She is very much a handful, but one thing she did say to me is she needs a man that can handle her - and that I can," Hoppy told People.
Earlier this month, Frankel confirmed to Us magazine that she has landed her own reality show, but said she'll still appear on Real Housewives this season.
