One of the most anticipated East Coast weddings of the year took place on Sunday, as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner tied the knot.

The bride wore a Vera Wang wedding dress inspired by Grace Kelly as she walked down the aisle at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, according to Us magazine.

"She was the most stunning bride," a rep for Ivanka told the news provider.

Event designer Preston Bailey was in charge of the wedding planning, and 500 guests enjoyed what E! News described as a "lavish affair."

Barbara Walters, Anna Wintour, Regis Philben and Rudy Giuliani were among those who attended the event, according to the New York Post.

Before the ceremony, Ivanka kept people up-to-date on events by using Twitter. On Saturday evening, she tweeted about her "casual" rehearsal dinner with friends and the next day she revealed she was preparing for the big day with "a gorgeous hike."

Ivanka is the daughter of legendary real estate mogul Donald Trump and Jared is the son of real estate developer Charles Kushner.
