Jay-Z's next project: Wedding DJ?

If you remember the ultra-secret wedding planning that took place when Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot in April 2008, you may be surprised that the groom wants to play a more public role at future nuptials.

But, according to BANG Showbiz, the rapper's desire is sincere. Multimillionaire superstar Jay-Z wants to be a wedding DJ.

He told the entertainment news agency he wants to try his hand at putting on an elaborate show, using a pre-recorded set list.

So, does this mean you could be dancing to Jay-Z-spun tunes when you don your wedding dress? Well, if you want his extravagant DJ services, be prepared to pay.

"I'm gonna find out which DJ makes the most and charge double," he explained, adding that he wants to "make a show of it."

"I'm gonna have video behind me and dancers," said Jay-Z. "I'm gonna have people just go out and pour champagne when I get to a certain song."

According to People.com, during Jay-Z's marriage to Beyonce, DJ Cassidy was hired to spin. The event took place at the rapper's apartment and featured 60,000 white orchid blooms.
