Mild obsession - so many brides have been there. Maybe it's the process of shopping for wedding dresses, or maybe it's coming up with the perfect playlist for the reception. It can be only too easy to get fixated on a certain aspect of wedding planning!
For The Office's Jenna Fischer, it's invitations. In an interview with talk show host Bonnie Hunt, Fischer describes how she transformed from an "easy-going" bride-to-be into "a crazy person" when she arrived at the stationery store.
"Three hours I sat there with all the books," she told the news provider, describing how she found herself "pouring over the paper quality" of invitations while her fiancé looked on in astonishment.
Fischer is engaged to screenwriter Lee Kirk, who popped the question in June when the couple was vacationing in Europe.
Although the pair has not revealed many details about their wedding planning process or upcoming ceremony, one thing is for sure - guests better love their invitations.
"Don't just throw it on the counter!" Fischer jokingly implored. "Touch it, feel it, love it."
