Kate Gosselin to replace wedding ring

OK Magazine reports that after taking off her wedding ring for good last month, Kate Gosselin plans on replacing it with another symbol of love and commitment - a ring with eight small diamonds surrounding one mother of pearl - a visual representation of herself surrounded by her eight children.

The magazine reports that Gosselin said on the Ellen Degeneres show that the new ring will symbolize "me and the kids together forever."

The Gosselins announced their split shortly after an episode of their TV show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, followed the family on a trip to Hawaii, where the couple renewed their vows for their 10th wedding anniversary.

At the ceremony, which took place on a beach in Maui, Kate sported a long white wedding dress and a lei, and the kids all participated. The five girls wore white sun dresses, and the three boys donned light blue Hawaiian shirts. Afterward, the Gosselins cut into a three-layer wedding cake decorated with purple and yellow flowers.

Would Gosselin ever consider planning another wedding in the future? "I'm not thinking about [dating], but the thought has crossed my mind at some point [that] it's going to be scrutinized," the mother of eight told Degeneres.
