Melissa Rycroft and fiancé say goodbye to the single life in style

Some brides might balk at their husbands-to-be having a bachelor party in Las Vegas, but Melissa Rycroft actually opted to co-host one with her fiancé, Tye Strickland.

The pair had their joint bachelor and bachelorette party over the weekend in Sin City, but the couple didn't spend all of their time together. Rycroft and gal pals took in a few shows and hit the clubs, while Strickland and friends partied at the bars until closing time, news sources report.

Rycroft was embroiled in the The Bachelor disaster earlier this year when Jason Mesnick broke off their engagement on national TV, but the reality star has recovered with aplomb. She met Strickland shortly after breaking up with Mesnick, and was soon planning a wedding to the Dallas insurance agent.

People magazine reports that Strickland proposed to Rycroft on June 25 at White's Chapel in Southlake, Texas, with a beautiful platinum-and-diamond engagement ring.
