When Tiger Woods married wife Elin Nordgren, the couple hosted a luxurious ceremony and reception. The lavish beach wedding took place in Barbados and reportedly cost about $1.5 million, NBC sports reported at the time.

Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan and Bill Gates were among the 120 wedding guests. After the pair exchanged wedding rings, the couple set sail on a private yacht and took a honeymoon cruise.

Though we're sure they spared no expense for their big day, it seems that it will cost a lot more to keep their marriage intact.

It has been speculated that Woods will buy the silence of New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel, who allegedly had a five-month relationship with the athlete.

It has also been widely reported that the couple is renegotiating their prenuptial agreement. The original contract promised Nordgren only $20 million after 10 years of marriage. That's not too shabby, but when you consider that the pro golfer is a billionaire it seems like a paltry sum.

According to the Huffington Post, the new agreement will require Woods to pay Nordgren $55 million if the couple remains married for another two years, and $5 million immediately.

  • I gave Tiger Woods WAY too much credit as a man of integrity. Privacy, when you stray from your bedroom don't expect privacy! Elin Nordegrin is WAY too good for him. If she stays with him it will be only for the financial gain. As long as women continue to stand by men who cheat, men will keep cheating!
