Is the singer putting the cart before the horse, or is she just a good businesswoman? We think the latter.
If you've seen Jessica Simpson's line of sky-high heels on department store shelves, you know that the songstress has tried her hand at designing before. Now, she's expanding into jewelry, according to Foxnews.com.
The website reports that Simpson wants to team up with jeweler Pascal Mouawad to create her own line of
engagement rings and wedding bands.
However, the songstress hasn't sold Mouawad on the idea just yet. "Jess and her mom are really pushing the
wedding rings," an insider told Fox. "Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn't so keen on that. He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn't think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica."
And who wouldn't understand his trepidation? Simpson seems to have been undeniably unlucky in love. The divorced star just recently ended her long-term relationship with Dallas Cowboy's player Tony Romo, and there are already engagement rumors circulating about the athlete and his new girlfriend, former Miss Missouri USA Candice Crawford.
