Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr won't be sporting wedding rings

It seems that Miranda Kerr won't be shopping for wedding dresses anytime soon, after all. It was reported earlier this week that Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend, Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, were engaged. But the couple now claims that there was no truth to the rumors.

It was alleged that Kerr's brother Matthew confirmed the news. Woman's Day magazine reported that Matthew said, "He's finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They're getting married." But, Bloom's representative told the press that the statement was falsified.

Because of their busy schedules, the couple rarely sees each other. "Miranda and I spend so much time apart, she's working hard, I'm working hard, so we have to grab time together whenever we can," Bloom told People Magazine earlier this month.

The couple met in 2007, and they have been fending off engagement rumors ever since. However, the New York Daily News suggests that marriage is an eventual possibility for the couple.

A friend of Kerr's told People.com that Kerr and Bloom frequently discuss their future, and that Kerr is beginning to think about starting a family.
