NFL quarterback Kyle Boller and Carrie Prejean engaged

Carrie Prejean may have been forced to give up her crown in 2009, but it seems that beauty queen will be gaining an engagement ring in 2010.

Prejean is engaged to her boyfriend, Kyle Boller, a quarterback for the St. Louis Rams. The 22-year-old model and the 28-year-old athlete met last July, and have decided to make it official.

Prejean has plenty of experience choosing gowns for her competitions, so we can't wait to see what type of wedding dress she dons on the big day.

The football player popped the question to the blonde bombshell when the two were spending the weekend in Prejean's native San Diego.

Prejean has encountered plenty of scandals since she stated that she was against same-sex marriage in the 2009 Miss USA competition. Despite her controversial stance, Prejean was runner up - not too shabby - but when she was dethroned in June 2009 for breach of contract, she sued pageant officials. During litigation it was alleged that there was a sex tape of Prejean in circulation, and the matter was eventually settled out of court.
