Fans of the reality show "The Bachelor" (and the spinoff show "The Bachelorette") have been remarking on the similarities between this season, which features bachelor Jake Pavelka quest's for true love, and last season that followed the hopeful bride-to-be Jillian Harris.

Each group of contestants had one member that audiences loved to hate, and now both seasons have included a contestant that was forced to choose between work and the competition.
On "The Bachelorette," Ed Swiderski chose to head back to the office, only to return later and win Jillian's heart. Last night Pavelka had to say goodbye to advertising account manager Ali, who chose to leave rather than be fired.
After yesterday's episode, there are only three weeks left before Pavelka starts choosing between
engagement rings, and we figure out who gets to try on
wedding dresses and who will be packing their bags and heading home alone. Perhaps Ali will make a (not very) surprising reappearance and sweep Jake off his feet?
Ali doesn't return. The phone call that we saw in the preview for next week's episode is just supposed to throw us off. Gia goes home next week, Tenley and Vienna are the final two, and he picks Vienna.

I can't believe the big stink everyone is making about Ali leaving. None of those girls are right for him. Having people pick out complete strangers is not how you find love.
He let the best one go, I think her name was Ellie the one with the son. They made a nice family.
If he picks Vienna, he deserves her!
Ali isn't going to come back. Watch the phone call closely between Ali and Jake on Monday; it looks REALLY staged. They forced Ali to make the call to have drama and Jake knows before the phone rings that Ali is going to call. It's like when DeAnna came to see Jason on The Bachelor; they made a big huge hype about it but in the end, nothing came of it.
Jake is pretty much the biggest idiot I have ever seen. After everything that has started surfacing about Vienna, I bet he's really regretting his decision to choose her. That's what he gets for not listening to the women in the house. You know, out of all people, you'd think he would listen to what the women were telling him about Vienna since he was the one who came back to warn Jillian about Wes. Or is Vienna THAT manipulative?
