Did Leonardo DiCaprio give Bar Refaeli an engagement ring?

When supermodel Bar Refaeli was spotted wearing a gold band on her left hand, it sparked rumors that the blonde beauty and her boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, were set to tie the knot.

Bar has accompanied DiCaprio to Germany, where he is promoting his latest film, a psychological thriller titled "Shutter Island."

The 24-year-old Israeli model, who was the cover model for the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, met DiCaprio at a party in Las Vegas in 2005. The pair took a break in the summer of 2009, but rekindled their romance after a short break.

However, sources close to the actor are claiming that DiCaprio didn't use the romantic holiday weekend to propose, according to Eonline.com.

The actor is notoriously private about his love life, so we're not yet convinced that the pair isn't headed for the aisle.

We have to say that if one of the most successful actors around proffered an engagement ring to his girlfriend, we're inclined to think that it would have some noteworthy bling attached, unlike the simple gold ring that Refaeli was seen wearing.
