Hilary Duff to have small wedding checklist

Hilary Duff has a gargantuan engagement ring on her finger at the moment, so we can kinda-sorta-maybe understand why she wants to keep her wedding tiny (although if we had that rock on our hand, we would want the entire world to see it).

The adorable gal, who is engaged to Canuck hockey player Mike Comrie, recently said she wants to hear the words "man and wife" at an intimate, toned-down affair.

"We want to keep it small," Duff told Hollywood Life at an event in New York this week. "He's like, whatever you want!" she said about her super-sexy fiancé. Cute and sensitive too? Hold onto this guy, Hills.

Hilary, who is only 23, is quite the go-getter at the moment. Aside from having a sizzling acting and singing career, the cute-as-a-button actress and former Lizzie McGuire star has also signed on to pen a book. Her fiction novel, titled Elixir, is due out in October.

Duff has most recently been seen on the CW's hit show Gossip Girl.
