Katy Perry takes over wedding planning from Russell Brand

Katy Perry and Russell Brand may be starry-eyed and in love at the moment, but their wedding planning seems to have hit a roadblock.

Rumor has it that the British comedian and the I Kissed a Girl chanteuse are butting heads about where to walk down the aisle.

According to The Mirror, Brand, who is often spotted in all black and a long, '80s-rocker style hairdo, is hoping to make Perry his old ball and chain at a rock 'n' roll wedding. He suggesteed they wed at the recording studios in the Sunset Marquis hotel.

"Russell has been visiting the hotel for years and it is steeped in rock 'n' roll history. It's in the middle of West Hollywood, but it has beautiful gardens and you feel like you are in some kind of tranquil paradise," a source told the news outlet.

Katy, however, put the kibosh on the idea. The Betty Boop look alike hails from a religious family, and she wants to exchange wedding vows in a church.

We hope these two can work it out! Besides, we can't wait to see the hipster babies they'll produce. Maybe they'll dress them in skinny jeans too?
