While wedding planning is a challenge for any bride-to-be, those who are in the military may find coordinating their big day especially difficult.

Now, a non-profit organization is once again aiming to support these courageous women and make their walk down the aisle one to remember. Brides Across America, which unites bridal shops across the country and military brides-to-be, helps these women find their dream wedding dress
- for free.
Treasured Moments, a bridal store located in Boardman, Ohio, is one such participating boutique.
"Most of the dresses are from our store, but some designers have donated them, too. Local wedding-related businesses have also given donations for the day," Lorraine Fulks, co-owner of the shop, told the news outlet.
To qualify, brides must be engaged and planning a wedding, deployed or getting ready to be deployed, or have a fiancé in active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.
For Fulks and her husband, Mark, the organization hits especially close to home.
"I graduated from the academy at noon, and we got married at 5 p.m. that day in the academy chapel," Mark told the news source.
The couple has remained hitched for the past 32 years, and has three children together.
