Should you skip on cocktail hour?

Save to Stuff I Love!

Scores of women planning a wedding are continually aware of one important thing - their budget. Although most of us would prefer to have millions of dollars at our disposal, the truth is that the majority of brides-to-be have to stick with a specific allotment of cash.

It turns out that a wedding expert from Glamour.com had a pretty handy pointer for aisle-bound sweethearts looking to cut corners - skip out on the cocktail hour and head straight to the reception.

"I mean, let's face it, the cost of all those cocktail weenies adds up," the writer at the news source muses. "If the couple can cut out passed hors d'oeuvres and an hour of open bar, they'd save a bunch of cash."

Of course, while this certainly will help save finances, ladies may want to weigh the pros and cons of such a decision. Additionally, a majority of brides and grooms take their group photos during this time, which means couples will have to sneak in a session with their photographer at some other point during the evening.
