Congratulations and thank you for considering me as a potential officiant. We are going to have fun together! I am a Universalist Minister located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and I have been performing ceremonies for about 15 years. I perform single faith, interfaith and no-faith ceremonies. Your ceremony should reflect your relationship and your commitment to each other, as well as your beliefs. (Or lack there of!) I believe the planning should offer as much excitement as the wedding! Your officiant should be fun, flexible and supportive. I work with my couples to create inspirational, spiritual and personalized ceremonies that reflect both their relationship and commitment to each other. I will listen to your ideas, assist you with suggestions, and help you navigate the planning process. I support my couples in creating a day that is truly personal, spiritual, and beautiful. You should be sure that your officiant has the desire, energy, and personality to to make your ceremony all you have hoped for and more. There are no rules for what has to be included, there are no standards to apply. Together we can create a ceremony that reflects you, your relationship and the commitment you are making toward each other. I specialize in unique venues and park/beach weddings. - Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Jill made us comfortable right from the first meeting. Since we clearly didn't know what we were doing, she very gently guided us through what we wanted and what we possibly didn't want. She was very easy to talk with and made us laugh which also put us at ease.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Our wedding was outside but we didn't have a mic to project out to the people in the back. Rev. Jill said it would be no problem but I had no idea that she would be able to project like that! It was great! I think everyone heard the whole ceremony.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We didn't really want to do the candle unity since we were going to be outdoors so she suggested the wine unity ceremony. I loved it and the symbolism of the wine mixing together and never able to separate them once they've combined. We even forgot to have the wine glasses up there but Rev. Jill was very smooth and we worked it out. I don't think anyone knew we messed up.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My sister-in-law (my brother's wife) said she wanted Rev. Jill to do her next wedding! : D I had many people come up to me afterwards and tell me what a beautiful ceremony it was and "where did you find her???" I know that comment sounds like it could go either way but it was in the best possible way.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Jill has a great sense of humor and is very easy going. She tapped into our personalities and really tailored our ceremony to match us. We loved Rev. Jill and the job she did so much that we had her come back to do our son's blessing and naming ceremony!
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Humor was the best part. Although we only met once it was like she knew us. She knew which traits to 'tease' us about. Many of our guests thought that we were long time friends. She has really good baby mojo! (We got pregnant right away and had a baby before our first anniversary)
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We did a handfasting that included drinking from a Norse Viking horn, and I made our handfasting ropes. We also honored those who have passed.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? All of them. We received so many compliments about the uniqueness and comfort of our ceremony.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Jill couldn't have made me feel more comfortable than she did. Alway prompt on returnng my calls and never felt rushed. She arrived before hand to see how I was doing and if we needed any help. Her grace towards myself and guest were more than I could have expected.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Everything we discussed was presented at our ceremony. There was no hidden surprised.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We added family memebers who have passed that were really important in our lives.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Loved that me made it 15 minutes and sweet and to the point. Everyone loved how outgoing Rev Jill was.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? She made us feel very comfortable from the very first day we met her. She is so laid back, down to earth and friendly. She is a great person to be around and she has a wonderful personality.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? The ceremony she wrote was beautiful but we expected that from her because we knew she would do a great job.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We personalized our wedding ceremony by writing our own vows which made it very special for us.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? We never second guessed our decision to pick Rev. Jill. She was amazing. We too felt like we have known her for years. We are very bummed that we no longer need her services, but when we plan to renew our vows in 10 years, we know who we are calling. I would and will recommend her to everyone.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? I had found a reading online that I fell in love with. I emailed it to her and asked if there was any way we could incorporate this into the ceremony. She responded knowing exactly who it was and the original way it was written and yes incorporated it into the ceremony.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We did not want a ceremony that dragged on forever putting everyone to sleep. We wanted it to be around 15-20 minutes long but with some taste and class. We did not do a unity candle, we chose sand instead. Our programs had photos on the last page of our grandparents who could not be there with us. Rev. Jill called that out and made every one bow their heads in a moment of silence. Her words throughout the ceremony where exquisite... She made our ceremony everything we wanted and more.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Your ceremony was beautiful. Which was the one thing I was most concerned about with having it inside the same room as the reception. I wanted a beach ceremony. But hearing from person after person how beautiful our ceremony was, leaves me with no regrets and that is all thanks to Rev. Jill.
