- First dance song? While i was not the bride, rather a dear friend of the groom, i stumbled across the dave ivaz band review section and felt i needed to get a few things out.
- How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? i would say nothing, the bride and groom did all that. As an event planner in chicago, i was so excited to hear dave ivaz was playing at the wedding as i had heard of him. sadly, i was not impressed. they variety was great and the sound was too. they also have horns which is great and something different that most weddings dont have. what wasnt great were their attitudes. they looked bored and mundane and as if they would rather be watching paint dry. even dave, the lead, looked like he was going through the motions. a smile would have helped.
- DJ or Band interaction with the wedding guests? Numbers exchanged? nothing, thought i dont think they were asked to. I do think it would have been nice to hear a congratulations from the band though.
- Favorite wedding reception song & dance? they played DMB great, sadly thats all i can remember standing out. Overall, they looked like they were in it for the money and after briefly talking with the bride and groom they were not happy either.
