Are you and your groom political wonks? Do you want to add a little history to your wedding scrapbook? How about a letter of congratulations from our 44th President? Here’s what you do, send a wedding invitation to President and Mrs. Obama. Chances are, the Obamas will be a little too busy to show up, but White House etiquette requires them to send a letter of congratulations. If you want to make sure to have the letter in time for your wedding, send the invitation at least six weeks before the wedding. Hey, maybe that's the incentive you need to get your invitations out on time!
Send your invitation to:
The Honorable Barack and Mrs. Obama
The White House
Greetings Office, Room 39
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20500
What’s the worst that could happen? You have two super cool guests at your wedding?
