Hello, Gorgeous! Getting engaged reminds you of how beautiful you are, inside and out… But sometimes thinking about your wedding can make every body insecurity you ever had come right to the surface. Remember that thing you got over in the seventh grade? Say hello – it’s back for a visit. If you’re thinking about starting a new fitness regime for your wedding, go slow and go sensibly. Adding gradual changes to your diet or daily routine over time will be easier and stick better than making drastic changes all at once. As a rule of thumb, give each new change about three weeks to become a habit before you add the next one. Above all, be nice to yourself. A lot of women talk to themselves in ways they’d never tolerate from a friend. If you're looking for practical fitness advice that’s good to you and your body, check out our articles here, here, and here. This month’s stress-buster: Remember that getting active doesn’t have to mean sweating it up at the gym. Get the gang together and go out salsa dancing.
