How to keep yourself from getting into a bind
If you don’t have your wedding binder started, take some time to do it today. A little time setting it up now will save you countless hours down the road.
A wedding binder is much more than a big book of menus and color swatches (though you’ll definitely want them in there). It’s where you keep everything you need to know about your wedding. Contact information for your vendors and attendants, to-do lists, and contractual agreements should all go in. Anything you need is right at your fingertips, so there’s no shuffling around and wondering whether you left that one florist’s number in the pocket of your jeans or if it’s written on a post-it at work.
This month’s stress-buster: While you’re being so organized, organize yourself a drugstore spa afternoon. You can get yourself a peel-off face mask, bath salts, and a scented votive candle for just a few bucks. If you want to “splurge” on some lotion or an exfoliating sugar scrub, you’re still probably adding less than $10 to your tab. You’ll feel pampered without having to stress about your wallet.
