Featured Wedding at Keswick Hall, photos by Jen Fariello Photography Sometimes fate works in mysterious ways, and puts two people in the right place at the right time. This is exactly what happened for Tiziana and Michael, who met while vacationing in South Beach, Miami. They felt an immediate connection with one another, and their whirlwind romance began the second they left Miami. Tiziana envisioned an enchanted garden theme for their wedding, and Keswick Hall at Monticello (situated amidst rolling hills) fit the bill. Romantic flowers, moss and vines, together with antique candelabras, lanterns, urns and mercury bowls, created the enchanted garden that Tiziana had always dreamed of. Tiziana chose a stunning Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, and paired it with sky-high satin peep-toe Christian Louboutin bridal heels and a statement necklace by Alessandro Dell’Acqua. Her bridal bouquet included antique green hydrangeas, Amnesia roses, garden spray roses, and Lady Amherst pheasant feathers… an ethereal creation that was beyond-beautiful! Throughout the wedding ceremony, the couple achieved the perfect blend of Jewish and Catholic traditions- they said “I Do” under a chuppah, lit a unity candle, and capped it off with Michael stepping on a glass in celebratory Jewish tradition. The reception menu was inspired by Michael and Tiziana’s love of travel and fine food; guests enjoyed a wine and cheese station in honor of the couple’s engagement in Napa Valley, California, spicy green onion rings (inspired by a ski trip to Jackson Hole) were served, and one of their favorite New York restaurants warranted mini cheese steak sliders and truffled mac and cheese. Now this is Food You Can Eat (see #9 on our Top 10 Trends for 2010!)! In addition to their four-tier wedding cake, Tiziana and Michael served a dessert tasting- decadent chocolate-dipped NY cheescake lollipops, mini caramel apples, lavender creme brulee spoons, and banana-caramel bread pudding bites. But they didn't stop there... Carpe Donut (a doughnut truck popular in Charlottesville) was invited to the wedding, serving guests yummy organic apple cider doughnuts as a treat during the reception! Another personalized touch at their beautiful wedding- hand-rolled cigars! This couple spared no expense in creating the perfect wedding that truly expressed their personalities and love for one another.
