Featured Wedding by Ted Nghiem's Photography
Erik & Nancy exchanged vows at the NJ State Museum, and it was one of the most intimate wedding ceremonies
I've witnessed. Once they said I Do, the celebration continued at the Mariott Hotel in Trenton where everyone, and I do mean everyone, started busting out their dance moves. Before the big day, the couple created one of the best reception music play lists I've ever heard.;which makes sense, as Erik and Nancy are musicians, and play in the same band.
After submitting this wedding to be featured, I was asked by the Savvy Scoop to show off more of my engagement ring
and bridal shoe
photos from this (and one other) wedding. They wanted the details, and I was happy to oblige!
For the shoe shots (above and below), I like to shoot creating negative space in my images. In my mind, it keeps things interesting! So when I saw a window with curtains (allowing a bit of light to shine through), I thought this would be the perfect spot to shoot the ivory peep-toe bridal heels.
In photo 4
, I shot the engagement ring
and groom's wedding band on top of piano keys. I had read from a fellow photographer
friend that when she tried this, the rings fell through the gaps (pretty scary considering those rings cost a bundle)! So I was intrigued to try it myself, but careful not to let the rings slip away. I especially loved this shot for Erik & Nancy, since they're musicians and love music.
In photo 5
, I used the bride's DIY
ring bearer pillow as a unique backdrop for their engagement and wedding bling. And the ribbon provided a little something extra- a little Something Blue!
And the rest of the ring shots, in my mind, speak for themselves. Are you hoping to get creative wedding photos of your engagement ring, wedding bands, and bridal heels?
