Featured Wedding by Kristen Weaver of Kristen Weaver Photography
Matt and Susan Dunn got married on September 4, 2009 at the Mead Gardens in Winter Park, with their reception at the Winter Park Farmer's Market. Their wedding really had this awesome casual vibe to it! It was beautiful, no fuss and just focused on Matt and Susan. Lots of fun, and lots of love.
I met Susan just a few months ago and I knew we'd be a great fit. Sometimes, you just get lucky. Matt is this amazing graphic designer and actually designed all of the elements for their wedding - logo, custom silhouette, fonts, invitations
- you name it. This couple is seriously amazing. It helped steer the wedding into this sweetly romantic vintage feel
. Susan actually did all the floral arrangements
herself and they were gorgeous.
The catering was BBQ, I mean how lucky could a girl get? It was delicious! Susan's brother (she has 5 brothers, by the way), is an executive chef in Buffalo, NY and provided all the appetizers - which were beyond yummy. One of the coolest things about the wedding was the bridal party
. Small and quaint - no bridesmaids, but a Man of Honor, Bryce, Best Man (Chris, the groom's brother) and a Groomsman. Their getaway car (a 1959 Fleetwood, I believe) has this really cool history - I've heard that Eleanor Roosevelt was actually driven in it. It was a complete surprise for Matt (actually, I almost blew it at a meeting a few months ago!).
Congrats to this beautiful couple!
