Only 24 people were in the room when Nancy & Adam devoted their lives to each other on a rainy afternoon in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 9, 2009. Of these 24 teary eyed people (myself included) I felt absolutely honored to be one of them during this intimate expression of love. They wrote their own heartfelt vows and couldn't stop smiling at each other. It was a family affair as Adam's father married the couple and his uncle created all of their stunning floral bouquets
One of my favorite things about Nancy and Adam's wedding was that although they had many traditional elements to their day, they weren't afraid to put their own personal touch on it as well. After their heartfelt ceremony, their string quartet played a waltz as the couple danced in front of their proud family. Instead of having a best man, Adam chose to have a best woman
with his sister firmly planted by his side. And instead of rushing off to a party
, the couple enjoyed a quiet evening to themselves after their emotional ceremony, throwing a bash the next evening with many more friends and plenty of family.
Nancy and Adam are so in love and such kind, generous people. As I met their families, I learned why these two are the lovely people they are. They are perfectly suited for each other and I wish them the happiest ever after.
