Foodie Wedding in the Countryside

By admin, Published Jul 15, 2014

Andy and Madeleine are both foodies and wanted their wedding to be an all around great party with good music, good wine and craft beer, and most importantly, good, local and sustainable food. The goal was for their guests to feel like they were at a classy dinner party, not your usual wedding. Andy and Madeleine wanted the venue to be intimate and natural, and went for a rustic “classic country” theme with minimal flowers and decorations to let the natural beauty of the venue and the beautifully prepared food by Patowmack Farm’s Chef, Tarver King, to really shine. We love the rustic feel of the pie bar, and the way the pair brought the images of lavender from their stationery to life as stands for their namecards. The couple embraced the rainy day with fun rain boots and umbrellas as well as gorgeous night time shots of the newlyweds romancing in the falling rain drops. Take a look at the delightful shots below, and add your favorites to your Ideabooks!
