Gorgeous Real Irish Wedding: Castle Venue, Vintage Bridal Style

By Azure Nelson, Published Mar 17, 2011

I thought it'd be fun to feature a real wedding from Ireland since today is Saint Patrick's Day! This wedding- captured by Eric Savoie of Savo Wedding Photography- is beyond beyond! It has every element of a beautiful Irish wedding. Maria and Paul chose two stunning wedding venues. The ceremony was hosted at the Church of Most Holy Rosary, a magnificent traditional Catholic church with arched vaulted ceilings and sparkling stained glass. For the reception, it was the amazing Castle Durrow in County Laois. This venue had it all- drool-worthy chandeliers, regal decor details and sprawling lush gardens. And there was a whole lot of head chic going on, too! Maria sported a vintage bridal hair comb that was one of the prettiest I've seen, and many of the female wedding guests' donned fancy oh-so-Kate-Middleton party hats. Special thanks to One Fab Day, an Irish bridal blog that featured this lovely wedding first!
