Multicultural Ornate Indian Wedding

By admin, Published Jan 31, 2012

It's been quite some time since we've featured a swoon-worthy Indian wedding on our blog.  But the moment I stumbled upon this multicultural stunner captured by Nadine of Love Me Do Photography, I knew we had to share!

Sonal and Keith tied the knot on 11.26.2011.  They chose the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, NJ for their wedding venue, and highlighted the bride's Indian heritage with a rich red and gold wedding color palette.  Although the groom was not of Indian decent, he dressed the part for the big wedding day, standing out in a fabulous way from his Western-dressed groomsmen.  The beautiful bride's b-maids wore elegant red and gold saris, the hairstyle of their choice, and a single white bloom tucked behind the ear.

The cultural details were opulent and luxe, with touches of gold galore!  The escort cards were elephant shaped, the reception tables were dripping with candlelight, and the clear turquoise vases filled with exotic orchids and classic hydrangeas surrounding a single high topiary centerpiece made a seriously stunning statement!
