Katie and Jim's themed wedding in Sedona, AZ was truly one of a kind! They chose the Sycamore Springs Guest House for their outdoor wedding venue, and a chic navy blue and yellow wedding color palette. Katie donned a vintage-inspired tea length wedding dress with a cap sleeved bolero. She jazzed up her retro look with statement accessories including a funky birdcage veil, golden peep-toe wedding shoes and a chunky bridal necklace.
Both Katie and Jim love the 1950's, and they wanted to incorporate this into their wedding theme in a major way. And that that did! With the help of wedding planner Kim Duncan of KD Event Designs, the couple's offbeat wedding was dripping with retro details! Instead of traditional table numbers, each reception table was named after a favorite 1950's TV show.
The icing on the cake at this fabulous 1950's-inspired wedding? Katie and Jim's first dance! They took swing dancing lessons prior to their I Do's, and surprised wedding guests with a swing-tastic first dance!
