See all Wedding Dresses by Beth Elis
Beth Elis is another new designer who we had the pleasure of meeting during NY market. She was an absolute doll, and her
wedding dress collection was to-die-for.
Upon meeting her, she stated that (without wanting to sound too cliché) her collection was inspired by women. And you can tell… Take
the Nigella for example- this beautiful gown was so obviously created for the bride who embraces her curves and beauty.
High necklines, cap sleeves, and intricate, antique touches abound in this
Spring 2010 collection. The
flower appliqué runway trend is ever present in Elis’ line. Sprinkled throughout the collection are whimsical, romantic
wedding dresses that could very well be displayed in a vintage couture boutique. One constant throughout- truly timeless dresses, reminiscent of Claire Pettibone. Each piece seems to hail from a different period in time- something I love about this collection!
Beth Elis is one talented lady, and I’m expecting big things from her. She's definitely one new designer that I'll be keeping a close eye on!
