Spring 2010 Bridal Runway: Alfred Angelo Wedding & Bridesmaid Dresses

By Anna Brady, Published Nov 4, 2009

At the Alfred Angelo studio, wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses were never in short supply with several sending us swooning for more. The new collections, inspired by the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival, was all about juxtapositions and contradictions. From the Private Collection, we saw a few of our favorite Spring 2010 trends--sweetheart necklines (styles 2119, 2117), pockets (style 2119), ruffled skirts (style 2119), flower appliques and organza over satin (style 2115). From Alfred Angelo Sapphire and Alfred Angelo we saw understated elegance topped with another Spring 2010 trend--satin and organza sashes (Styles 828, 2085). The newest Alfred Angelo line, Purely, is an eco-friendly bridesmaid collection in short, sassy and feminine shapes, patterns & fabrics. These dresses are not just for weddings! And don't forget...Alfred Angelo manufactures in sizes 0 to 30W.
