The best way to sum up David Fielden's Spring 2010
wedding dress collection- European High Fashion meets Futuristic (with a touch of Bride of Frankenstein- in the catwalk hair, of course). I would have loved to attend this runway show... I can just feel the chills!
If you are looking for frills, bows, and clouds of tulle, this collection is not for you. Many of the dresses
in this collection are true works of art, and for the right bride, a David Fielden
frock could be beyond stunning! We met with this designer in NYC, and I remember loving the translucent sequins
that adorned many of the wedding dresses
. And check out the dress on the left in the second photo... Look familiar? It reminds me so much of the gown that January Jones wore to the Emmys!
There are also some beautiful short numbers in Fielden's Spring 2010 collection. More and more brides are opting for a wedding day wardrobe change- donning a classic, traditional gown for the ceremony, and then sassing it up with a short cocktail frock for the reception. If you are thinking about doing this, and it's in your wedding budget
, I'd definitely suggest checking out this collection! And hey, if you enter and win our amazing Off-the-Chart free wedding
giveaway, you'll have about $15,000 extra to play around with!
