Delyssa and Josh tied the knot on a sunny Fall day in San Diego. When their wedding date, 10.24.2010, arrived, the sun was shining, birds were chirping and the weather was picture perfect. They chose the Temple Beth Israel in Heritage Park for their wedding ceremony venue, a pretty little church ideal for intimate I Do's. The bridal party wore sailor blue bridesmaids' dresses with a ruffle detail on the neckline, and their favorite pair of heels. They clutched white and yellow blooms, coordinating with the bride's sunny sunflower bouquet. Josh and his groomsmen wore grey tailored suits, plaid neckties and sunflower boutonnieres on their lapels. Delyssa looked gorgeous in a strapless modified a-line wedding dress with lace and beading embellishments. I LOVED her bridal heels, patent turquoise pumps with a retro chic flair. Her wedding hairstyle was soft and simple, finished with a three-strand pearl headband. For her wedding jewelry, Delyssa chose understated pieces, simple stud earrings and a delicate pendant necklace. No statement jewelry for this laid-back gal! After the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour commenced in the Loggia Room of The Prado at Balboa Park. The view of the park from the Loggie Room was incredible! For the wedding reception centerpieces, sunflowers, hydrangeas, manzanita branches and more were arranged in high hurricane vases. And to pull the sunflower theme together, the couple's classic white wedding cake featured adorable sugar sunflowers.
