If there's one thing I know my client/brides love it's a beautiful robe. When visiting my studio for fittings, a bride gets the royal treatment (precursor for the big day of course). We start with mineral water, hot tea or champagne. A robe or pretty kimono always hangs in the dressing room, awaiting.
Recently I hooked up with Sara Kirsner of Doie Lounge, a design firm specializing in an eco-chic loungewear. These robes make beautiful and practical gifts for all your best buds in the bridal party, while infusing an often-ignored moment (getting ready the morning of) with a bit of glam detail. This primping time is when some of the most touching photo moments happen. Wearing a robe, the bride (and maids) will have a reminder of her wedding that each can actually wear again.
