What's Out for 2011 Weddings- Ditch These Top 10 Trends from the Past!

Now that we know what's hot for 2011 weddings, let's talk about those trends from the past that brides, grooms and wedding vendors are ready to say sayonara to! What's Out for 2011 Weddings- Top 10 1. Mustache on a Stick- the move toward more elegant, sophisticated weddings means 2011 couples will leave the shtick behind, including the once-popular mustache on a stick. 2. Cupcakes- classic wedding cakes are back, cupcakes are on their way out. 3. Over-the-Top Dessert Bars- remember, it's back to basics in 2011. And dramatic dessert bars are most certainly not a basic! 4. Candy Bars- another once-popular wedding reception treat, candy bars are taking a back seat to traditional wedding cake tables. So wedding guests with a serious sweet tooth- plan on bringing your own stash in 2011! 5. Wedding Dresses with Pickup Skirts- while big, dramatic ball gowns are in for 2011 brides, pick-up skirts are not. The antiquated reputation often associated with pickups sustains in 2011. 6. Glamourizing Bridezilla- we can all take a big sigh of relief. In 2011, demanding bridezillas will no longer be glamourized. 7. Rustic Wedding Style- rustic chic weddings were huge for 2010, but in this ever-changing wedding world, rustic is out for 2011. 8. Cleavage- wedding dresses with deep, plunging necklines that are more trashy than classy are definitely out for 2011. 9. Crazy Wedding Reception Dances- crazy wedding reception dances and sophisticated wedding style do not mesh... so 2011 couples will ditch the crazy dances and go more traditional. 10. Matchy Matchy- 2011 is the year to mix, match, and be merry (er... married). So say goodbye to head-to-toe monochromatic bridesmaid style and perfectly coordinating bridal parties. What do you think of our Top 10 Outs for 2011 weddings? Are you over all 10, or are there a handful that you plan on bringing to your 2011 I Dos?
