YAY or NAY to Bridesmaids in White?

By admin, Published Feb 8, 2012

Kate Middleton did it first, and even folks who stayed far, far away from the royal wedding buzz couldn't escape talk about Pippa, her bum, and that creamy, dreamy cowl neck bridesmaid dress. Kim Kardashian was next, putting her 'maids in white Vera Wang gowns. But we all know how that one ended...

More and more, brides are choosing light-hued dresses for their bridal parties, bucking tradition and breaking the "only the bride wears white" rule. And here at OneWed, we love brides that break the rules! But we're wondering what you think of this 2012 wedding trend.

Would you put your b-maids in white or cream gowns? If so, would you choose one dress for everyone, or offer guidelines and let each girl pick her own? We love the idea of mix and match bridesmaids' dresses in white, ivory and cream; because although the bride and her bridesmaids are in similar hues, the bride stands out in a beautiful way. What do you think?
