how did they keep them fresh looking during wedding

To keep flowers fresh it is important to keep those with delicate blooms (like the hydrangeas) in water - you can do this with little water tubes on each stem or in a vase if it works with your decor. Make sure to cut the stems on a diagonal, and put them in cold water. You also can take a needle and poke the bottom of the stem to allow for even more water saturation, but that is up to you!
