Once upon a time, a boy fell in love with a girl and asked for her hand in marriage. After setting a date and planning a wedding, they realized it was hard to find the perfect arch to exchange their vows under. His background in construction, tied in with her creative mind helped them create Happy Chuppah in their parent’s garage. Using real wood and silk fabrics, they created a magnificent canopy where the bride and groom sanctified their marriage. Over 350 weddings later, Happy Chuppah is a Full Service Wedding design rental company offering flowers, photo booth, canopy, candy buffet and much more...

We give you many choices. Pick from a variety of frames of wood or Bamboo. Then select fabric in the color of your choice and accessorize it with flowers or crystals.

The frame is for rental use only however you can choose to purchase any part of it as a keepsake. Use your drapery in your home as a bedspread, hang it on your wall as decoration or use it as a table cloth for holidays and anniversaries. Someday, you can pass it on to your children so they, too, can use it for their wedding.

Beautiful Chuppah

Décor? Decorations? Theme of your wedding?

We had an excellent experience with Karina and her husband. They arrived to set up our chuppah on time and did so with the utmost professionalism, and created a beautiful and very sturdy chuppah, including taking care of my beloved grandfathers very delicate tallit, which I had inherited. Everyone commented on how beautiful the chuppah was!

We were then amazed, as we were leaving our reception at midnight, to see them pulling back up to the house, ready to take it down! I shopped around Los Angeles, and found their prices to be extremely reasonable, one of the best values. Great experience, would definitely recommend.

How was your wedding unique, personalized?

We got married at an Estate in The Valley, most of our friends and close family members flew on from all over the US and it was everything my wife and I wanted.

How did staff meet your personal wedding style needs?

They listened to our wants and needs and we were happy to see that they all delivered. The food was absolutely amazing, our cake provided by Portos was delicious and the Flowers that SeedFloral did was gorgeous.

Our Chuppah

Décor? Decorations? Theme of your wedding?

I love Happy Chuppah!! First of all they were Reasonably priced, and trust me I've shopped around. My chuppah looked so beautiful, all my guests commented on how beautiful it was. Karina was not only a professional, but also the nicest person. Since I was planning the whole wedding by myself, she kept sending me emails to make sure I'm o.k. with all the stress, and to ask if I needed help in finding other vendors. She also gave me some tips on how to save up on some of the wedding stuff, and getting those tips from her really helped me a lot!! I really enjoyed doing business with Karina and Happy Chuppah, it was professional, smooth, easy, and at a great rate price!!!
I would definitely recommend Happy Chuppah to any couple!

Unhappy Chuppah

How did staff meet your personal wedding style needs?

Initially, Karina at Happy Chuppah was very responsive and sounded experienced and professional. We were impressed with their selection, and Karina helped us choose the right fabrics and colors.

On the wedding day, however, they brought the wrong size chuppah, the 6 foot square instead of the 8 foot square written in our contract, so that our attendants did not fit underneath, leaving us squished for the ceremony and the photos. Furthermore, the chuppah was not adequately weighted down, and fell over immediately before the processional, breaking our expensive Venetian kiddush cup and delaying the ceremony by about half an hour, leaving glass shards spread around, and greatly agitating the bridal party. Family members had to hold it up during the ceremony and photos, and notably, there was little wind. It was just not stable.

When Happy Chuppah came to collect the chuppah, they argued with our day-of-coordinator that it couldn’t have fallen over, as if we don’t have it all on video. They said they would call us, but we haven’t heard from them. Very unprofessional and unreliable.
