Did the bridal retailer offer all that you imagined? Did you just love?
Without notice, Weddington Way extended their delivery by a month. I immediately called and advised them that this is unacceptable customer service. I had previously been assured and promised that the dress would be delivered before the end of March. I informed them I was assured the item was an in-stock item and there were no foreseeable delays. I asked what the reason for the delay and if I should place my order with a different vendor. When I received no response from Lindsay, I emailed my request to cancel my order. Unfortunately, I receive no response to my cancellation. I called and asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor apologized that the staff did not provide me with a status update, or inform me that my dress was out of stock, and that I would receive my order by the end of April. I asked her to contact her vendors, ask for ANY Donna Morgan dress in my size and the color requested by the bride, and to change the order to whatever is available. She returned my call and stated nothing was available. She assured me that it was not necessary to cancel my order, that my order had been placed already, and I would receive my dress before the wedding. It is now May and the wedding is next week. I have received no contact, no communication of any form, tracking number, or status update from Weddington Way. The other bridesmaid was informed that they can no longer guarantee that her dress will arrive in time. I would have appreciated some sort of correspondence. Both of us have already placed the Donna Morgan order through Nordstrom a week ago and received our dresses. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, do not order through Weddington Way. Weddington Way has not only lost our business as a result of their terrible service but they have lost the business of our entire wedding party (since the majority of us are engaged and will not have future bridesmaids use their service). Our dissatisfaction is beyond words.
