The term wedding photojournalist is the new fad in the world of wedding photography, that is used by wedding photographers who have never shot photojournalism in their careers and say that they shoot a wedding photojournalism style. Well Kris Connor is not a wedding photojournalist, he is a photojournalist that shoots weddings. He brings his style and expertise of shooting as a photojournalist, who's work has been published in the New York Times, Times.com, USA Today and the Washington Post. He strives to shoot each wedding as though he is shooting a photo essay, with little interruption to the bride and groom on their special day. He prefers the use of ambient light over the use of flashes. Which gives him that distinct style and also allows him to blend into the background usually being forgotten by those he is photographing that he is even there.
