What was your favorite wedding photo?
We were married Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park, right on the lakeside. Fortunately, the weather was perfect that day, and the views under the ancient cypress trees made for a truly surreal and gorgeous setting. My favorite shots were by the lakeside, with the spanish moss hanging off the cypress trees, with my wife and I silhouetted against the lake background, and another with us walking down a path, with the same setting creating a fairy-tale look.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits?
Our wedding was very small, only 9 guests in total, and Jan & Beata (our photographers) stayed off to the side, while quietly snapping away at nearly 2000 photos throughout the day. Their nonchalance and professionalism just blended in with the whole ceremony, and they captured some really deeply emotional candid shots.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers?
We received one leather bound photo book (professionally printed book), several smaller hardback photo books for our parents, various prints for frames, and some absolutely gorgeous DVD slideshows that never fail to well up some tears in the coolest of cucumbers.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable?
Their calm and friendly manner made everyone feel at total ease, making everyone laugh and smile naturally while we took the formal shots, which are probably the most grueling shots for most families (keeping everyone still and smiling for that long is a real challenge!)
