What was your favorite wedding photo?
That is a difficult question. Todd and Peggy provided us with over 800 proofs to choose from. I had a hard enough time picking a handful of photos for each page of our 20-page album let alone selecting one favorite. Sorry, too many great ones to choose from so I cannot answer this question.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits?
Todd and Peggy brought one other photog-friend with them. This is the first time that it has crossed my mind that three could have been a crowd. So, I guess I'm not sure what they did too avoid disrupting our day because I didn't really notice that they were there when they were shooting candids. When we were taking formals around the golf course we got along great with them. Todd is very professional, Peggy is adorable, and my bridesmaids LOVED Adam. ;)
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers?
We chose Package 2 but negotiated some different options based on our needs. Todd was flexible and reasonable. My parents appreciated the option to pay in installments since we booked them approximately 1 year early. Our original package included 8 hours of time, two photographers, 2 DVDs of with unlimited reproduction rights (be sure you ask about this when looking for photographers), a 9x12 Platinum Bridal storybook, a 7x7 Parents storybook, a bridal portrait, and thank you cards or save the dates, my choice. We ended up negotiating 9 hours instead of the parent book but I think they might have gone over that for no charge. We also negotiated a 20-page spread instead of the bridal portrait. They were really flexible and fair and we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Win, win.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable?
They are really nice people and I knew they were excited to be apart of the day. I thought that was important when I was looking for vendors. Todd really likes what he does and Peggy compliments him well - they are a good team. I emailed and interviewed many photographers and not all of them understand that offering good customer service is part of the package. When Todd offered me a beer from their home kegerator that made me feel comfortable. When Peggy got up under my dress to bussle and re-bussle it - oddly enough I still felt comfortable. We had a fourteen member bridal party. It was like hurding cats but they handled it well and those were some of my favorite pictures. They helped us get the party started after the wedding with fun ideas for pictures that made us laugh and relax and start to unwind. After the last of the post-wedding formals - we were ready to dance!
